This is by far our finest model - at a price anyone can afford. We now present one of the finest models of DNA on the market. It is 25 inches x 8 inches made of durable and colorful plastic. The accuracy is wonderful. This shows the major grooves and minor grooves of DNA, the angles of the bases, phosphate and ribose are correct, it is just plain fun to put together. It is something that you can use just liven up a room or you can use as a total learning model.

Take a look carefully at the structure of the DNA double helix. You will find that this is one of the best learning tools for children (and adults) that there is. While you can break down the model, it really is set up as a learning tool.

	New Plastic DNA Model

With so many models, they do not stand properly, or are the wrong color or are just plain impossible to assemble. With this kit, you will find that youngsters will love assembling the DNA structure. When they are done, they have an item of beauty. This is about 14 inches tall and 4 inches in diameter.

	Painted Plastic DNA Model

The photo on the right and left does not do justice to this accurate scale model. It's a model that is really intended for the connoisseur. In fact, we haven't finished building it yet (you can see that the lower part lacks sugar-phosphate backbones). The plastic parts clip together and are strong, but the model would not stand up to rough handling in the classroom. It would, however, make a fine display model. There are no paints provided but the detailed booklet with this kit explains how to color-code each atom. The completed model stands on an attractive and sturdy wooden base. The model is about 60 cm tall and roughly 15 cm in diameter. The accompanying booklet includes numerous questions for students encouraging them to analyze the structure in detail.

This is the type of model that one spends some time on and then displays it in their house (it is so good....).

There are two models. One is without paint and one is with paint (you paint the model.) Other than that they are the same.

	Colorful, Twistable DNA Model

After a simple assembly, this plastic model can be twisted into a double helix. Instead of building it around a center post like other DNA models, this unique design can be used "to demonstrate separation 3.2MB video). Each of the four nitrogenous bases comes in a different unlabeled color, so students can design their own base pair coding.

The model is removable from the plastic base and can be extended to its full length and laid flat. Appropriate for classes at every grade level.

	Mini DNA Model

This is a beautiful new model from the British family firm of Spiring's, that produces the well-known 'Molymod' range. Unlike the usual Molymod models, it's made of specially-shaped, brilliantly-colored plastic pieces and is very easy to assemble (I did it without referring to the instructions). The 12 base-pair model is about 23 cm tall and it looks stunning. Everyone here at TheDNAStore.com thought it was the best model they'd ever seen and wanted one to decorate their desks.

	Mini RNA Model

This is a molecular kit to make open models of the 4 individual bases present in DNA, Adenine, Cytosine, Guanine and Thymine.

These are very nice models and extremely useful for a full understanding of base structure.

	Stuffed DNA Model

TheDNAStore.com's original DNA stuffed toy. Found nowhere else and just released from production, we offer you an educational toy that will delight a 3 year old as well as a 70 year old!

This toy is color coded for all the major components of a DNA molecule. The bases, adenine, guanine, cytosine and Thymine all have there own colors while the ribose and phosphate have the same color (reduces confusion in the young). This toy has been used in the classroom as a DNA model - being much cheaper and much easier to see that best of the current models. It was an instant hit with kids - all asking to hold the DNA. The DNA toy is about 18 inches in length and is flexible.
